Artist Statement In December 2003, I decided to begin my long awaited journey to earn the title of artist. I had hoped that my journey would take me from an occasional crafter to credible artist. I began "pushing paint around" until my canvas captured images as seen through my eyes. I began each painting with the expectation that it would be a serious piece of art when I was done. Every painting has been a lesson in composition, techniques, lighting and color mixing.

I love creating art for the pleasure of others as much as I love painting itself.
