Welcome to my Imageking gallery where you will be able to view and hopefully purchase some of my best works, both past and present. I currently reside in Chandler, Arizona with my wife Lori and our dogs. I have spent most of my life in Arizona. I have also lived in other parts of the country including Virginia, Illinois and Tennessee.
I have always shown an interest and talent in art. My parents noticed this in me at an early age and enrolled me in private art lessons during my grade school years. I always found my mind wandering during normal classes such as math and english in high school and would often walk out of my class with a notebook full of "doodling" versus the actual class work. Today I would have likely been classified with ADD. Not that I wasn't bright, it was that I just enjoyed drawing. And I was good at it!
Luckily, I was able to attend college at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. Once again, I found myself floundering in normal coursework with little direction for my future. It wasn't until I declared my major in Fine Arts where I once again began to excell. I graduated from I.C. in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. My most favorite mediums have been pen and ink and pencil sketching. I did get to experiment with acrylics, oils, plaster and some metal works. I also found plenty of time to enjoy the other aspects of college life including Sigma Pi Fraternity, the parties and lettering on the football team.
Today, I enjoy a successful career with State Farm Insurance. I still find time to pursue my interests in the arts. I have recently shown and sold my most recent pen and ink works at some local art festivals. Thanks to Imagekind, I am able to share some of my best works with you. Thanks for stopping by.
