I was born in Liverpool in 1960 and and grew up in the city. Apart from an A-level in Art, I am completely self-taught. I currently work as a freelance artist and illustrator. My work has been published in newspapers and magazines throughout the world and has also been used in numerous greetings card designs.

I am a self-taught painter, and consider myself to be a naive artist, occasionally bordering on abstract. My work is largely inspired by the people and places around me, combined with my dreams, fantasies and childhood memories.
