I have lived in Seattle, Washington since 1970, with my husband, who is also a painter. I grew up in Chicago and hence my love of the urban --its shapes, colors, people and critters. I paint in watercolor and acrylic, as well as doing monotypes and monoprints. Drawing is also a passion. I am a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and the Northwest Watercolor Society, and several of my recent paintings have won prizes in juried shows. My work is expressionistic and by not supplying every minute detail, the viewer is a participant in the process.
