I've always been an avid photographer. I've taken photography classes in high school and college. I have my own b&w darkroom equipment (no darkroom in new home yet) for film work! I am just getting into image manipulation using Gimp (a free program similar to Photoshop). I especially enjoy dramatic landscape image that do not require manipulation, but I'm not against it! It brings a lot of pride when someone looks at an image and says "WOW! I like that." A recent discovery is the "collecting" of NASCAR pit road signs (driver boards). Some of them are quite artistic and unique.I have had excellent travel oportunities thanks to a 20 year career in the US Air Force (as an aircraft mechanic)! I enjoy roadtrips just for the photographic opportunity.
