I try to document the moment of art as it is being made, and I later present edited video segments online using social media. When the painting is complete, it becomes a relic of those moments for me.

MOMENT of art

I am interested in the way that things fit together. My work employs gesture strokes to guide the eye across a universe of birds, fish, dogs, cats, elephants, seahorses… as they meet in precise congestion. I want to create the visual sense that although the paintings have edges, a swirling expanse of all connected things continues infinitely.

RELIC of art

To me, the paintings represent the culmination of the thoughts and ideas I had while creating them. Further interpretations are left to the viewer.
