Soon after, she started her own costume design business and among other exciting projects, designed costumes for the Ice Capades, many recording artists and several outfits for Mattel's iconic "Barbie" doll. Cheryl says her favorite things to create are "fantasy costumes where I can let my imagination go completely wild! My dream job? To design costumes for a big Las Vegas extravaganza like Cirque du Soleil!!!"
In addition to freehand drawing and painting, this versatile artist decided to take classes a few years ago enhance her artistic skills by learning Photoshop and other graphic programs so she could create digital art. Cheryl says she doesn't really have a favorite genre - "I'm truly an art junkie, I love EVERYTHING artistic!"
