Studying relics of the past evokes a sense of wonder about those who once owned and valued the items. What were their plans and dreams; what were their heartaches and sorrows; what were their plans for the tomorrow that never came? These images serve to remind us that like a vapor, we are here today - gone tomorrow. We come to realize that all to soon we to will make our exit.
In the future, someone will sift through our relics and contemplate who we were and what we left behind. Will we be remembered with gratitude or with contempt?
