First off - a confession. I am totally addicted to my camera. Generally, that's probably not an entirely bad thing if you happen to be a photographer!

A lot has changed since - not least in the world of photography. I first went digital nine years ago and bought my first pro camera late 2008. It's a big fat Nikon D300 will a whole load of trimmings, and it's a great piece of kit.

I take all kinds of pictures - anything from dreamy flowers to moody landscapes to contemporary portraits and weddings.

I love the technical challenge that photography offers and combining this with the creative part of my brain. The best photography requires excellent technique, but just as importantly a good eye and the ability to come up with ideas.
