I came to photography in middle school in the early 1980s, taking 35mm photos using my classic Canon F-1 SLR —a habit that continued and something I will keep close to my heart. Today, I am mostly shooting with medium format camera.

It often urges us to take another look at the ordinary things around us in a new light, revealing a quiet beauty in even the most mundane of places, people and objects....

Feeding my creative soul - As one of my favorite instructors once said: Art is anything that one can getaway with! No holding back. When it comes to creativity, I am in constant search for new ideas or medias that can help shape and capture my imagination. I also believe that the joyous part happens while conducting the act of art and the final result (picture) is the evidence of all that great energy used during the process.
