I grew up way back in the hills of Missouri (U.S.). I was a country girl and loved every moment of it. My sister and I did not have many toys and so we played outside on trees and other things in the woods and learned to use our imagination. This has become an asset to me. I knew by the 5th grade that I wanted to be an artist more than anything else. I like to paint, sew, minipulate objects so that they are interesting, cook, and write poetry. One of my goals is to write a poetry book and illustrate it. I recently have gone back to college after 17 years of raising my children.
