Artist Statement I would certainly call myself a photographer that is learning new things everyday. I started re-discovering my creative side when I purchased my first DSLR a Nikon D50. Not too soon after I dove right in with the start of a 365 days of Self Portraits Challenge. I have since completed my first year and have started on my second!!

I would have to say that taking portraits (not just of myself) is a passion of mine. I find myself studying people's faces everyday and discovering the uniqueness and beauty in all of us.
