Artist Statement R.Nedunseralathan:
An engineer retired from government service in 2003. Had interest in art right from my younger days. My interests are in various fields like literature, maths, computer and sports.
I took up art seriously after my retirement and do paining in various media and styles.
I do drawings in pencil, oil pastel (I like this medium very much), acrylics and oil. Now I am working digital medium mostly.
My style is predominantly abstract but do some portraits, figurative art, landscape also. I live in Chennai.

Statement:
Spontaneity is the essence of my artworks in my abstracts – I do not plan and restrict myself to any preconceived end result. I do not lead , instead the painting leads me to a destination I am bot aware of at the beginning. The end result is invariably surprising and satisfying
