Artist Statement Mr. Beal was born in Larochelle France in the early 50's.he was raised in Houston Texas where his father worked for NASA, which fostered his early interest in flight.Jim had a keen eye for detail and was able to capture this at a very young age.He is as much at home in the air as he is on the ground with flying ,skydiving and the study of aircraft past and present.
His life experience as an infantry soldier in Vietnam inspired many works in his Vietnam series which is continuing with the upcoming series depicting recent events.His images capture the action and emotions lived by the thousands who serve our country.
Mr.Beals award winning art is enjoyed by thousands around the world.His artistic endeavors have been featured in the media on several occasions.His work has been called intense,alive with action and detail that explode with vinettes of real life drama.
