Artist Statement I'm a 56 yr old Natural Wood Carver / Artist living with My wife Kay and Our Blk Labrador, Spooky, in Hawley,PA along the Beautiful Lackawaxen River, in the Pocono Mountains of N.E. PA. where I am often visited by many Various types of Wild life each day.

My goal is to Photograph or Reproduce as many creatures as I can, as realistically as possible, using only My skills, and Clean, unwanted or Discarded Lumber I seek out from construction sites or lumber yards, however most of My work is created using naturally grown lumber I personally harvest with My chainsaw, and In turn, Mill My own carving blocks whenever I can.

I only work in the Summertime as I don't have a proper shop or Proper tools, but I manage to make due with what I have. Therefore, all of My Artwork is created under a Weeping Willow in My yard when the weather permits, and That is not as easy as it may sound. Hopefully, I can set up a proper shop if and when I start getting some cash orders for My Unique Birds Sculptures or wildlife Photographs. The just wait and see what I can do. but until then....
I manage to get tremendous satisfaction in producing My Artwork, By recycling lumber scraps, and inventing new tools from old, and then turning My little scraps into almost living things !

Each piece is One of a kind ! No two poses are the same.
