Description I create my mazes to be able to fill two requirements. The 1st is the challenge that all mazes pose. 2nd is the ability to be appreciated as a simple work of art. You don't have to do the maze, but knowing it's there will give any friends and family a fun challenge to conquer! The entrance is near the bottom left of the arthropod and the exit is out the top of the shell.
Mallory Westlund, Chestertown, MD Member Since August 2015 Artist Statement Hi all!
I am a graduate of Horticulture (Landscape Design) with minor in architecture. However, drawing mazes is sooo much more fun! I've been creating mazes since I was in middle school. Once I got into college I decided to try and create ones that could sell as artwork. And that's how I got started with my "Three Eyes" maze as my first attempt. It seemed to turn out well, so I continued and have slowly started to create my own personal style, morphing from flat images to ones with depth (see: Teacup, Snake, and Cat).
I also have prints available, but selling on other sites such as etsy and FineArtAmerica. Please at least enjoy taking a minute to find you way though my mazes. I promise they all work!
