Description Our cat was lost in brambles deep,Through two long nights we could not sleep,For fear of losing her, sweet soul,Down some dark and hidden hole. But on the third we heard a cry,Soft and sad but quite nearby,We glimpsed her then, all forlorn,Trapped by nettle, brier and thorn,We gently called, lest not to scare,And coaxed her back into our care,She struggled bravely through the bramble,A desperately hungry scramble,We kissed and stroked her little head,And cried because she wasn't dead.We still had our furry friend. We have her still. That's it.The end.
