What is that on the left? Is it a skull, someone wearing a mask, a representation of evil, a condemned person, mankind in general, or? And the lower left? The pits of hell? Satan swallowing a victim? An image of the words spewing from the mouth above it? Is that a cross on the right? A representaion of a cemetery? Is it meant to convey hope and salvation, or death in various dimensions?
Do religious leaders use their positions of authority to abuse the system for personal gain? Do they use the word faith to stifle dissent or disagreement within their ranks? Does your religion follow the ethics and values of its founder, or has it become perverted over time by its leadership?
Are people with a different set of beliefs to be looked down upon or even considered less than human? Are they to be berated, cast aside, or even murdered because someone knows theirs is the only true religion while all others are false? Do you feel that youre a better person than someone who doesnt share your particular faith? Do your attitudes follow the lessons of your founder? Do you use your religion to help others or to condemn them?
Did your founder talk of love and brotherhood while your religious leader preaches about the evils of someone who doesnt follow their teachings and do as they say? Do you believe what you are taught even if the evidence around you says otherwise?
Is separation of church and state a bad thing because it removes God from the equation, or is it a good thing because it prevents religious persecution by a theocratic government?
