Description This clever little spider has a unique way of catching it's supper...there is no web involved...it hides on a white flower in plain view and, motionless, it patiently waits for it's victim to notice and land on the bug-attracting flower...it then attacks with small claws on it's two front legs...
Robert Thomson Member Since June 2007 Artist Statement I live on Cape Breton Island...the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. My home is on the east coast of the island and my stomping grounds consists of wild North Atlantic coastline, beautiful empty beaches that streach for miles, and forests both old and new. Nature in all it's glory surrounds me and I love photographing it. Lately I've been taking a lot of macro's...I just love the incredible details...but I have been known to take a landscape or two.
