Description In homage to Charles Ives and his music, the artist created this painting. The original was created in 1997 and measures 48' x 96'. It is done on cut-shape masonite with acrylic paint.Prints available with black OR white background.
Leonard Breger, San Francisco Member Since February 2011 Artist Statement Born in 1920 in Brooklyn N.Y. He received his BSS degree from City College of New York in 1941 and his MFA degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California, in 1963. He has lived and taught in the San Francisco Bay Area since the 50's. During that time he has exhibited in many galleries and museums, including major one-person exhibitions at the De Young Museum and the Palace of the Legion of Honour. His most recent one-man show was in July, 2009 at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art.
