Description In this painting a caribou wanders the tundra below the moonlit slopes of Denali also Known as Mt. McKinley in Denali National Park in Alaska. The ghostly spectacle of the aurora or northern lights shimmer in ever changing patterns overhead in the arctic night. I wanted to see how many Alaskan icons I could put in one painting without over doing it and this was the result.
