Description This bright and joyful painting is bursting with light and visual interest, in a warm harmonious palette of salmon, peach and yellow with cool notes of blue and teal. Embedded are the words from Psalm 123:1 which state, To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! I chose these words and the theme of the series itself because I realized something about myself. Life is often challenging, and the many demands placed upon us underscore our own individual shortcomings. Aware of my own limitations, I realized that I was becoming anxious and that self-doubt was eroding my natural confidence. So I prayed about it and realized the source of my anxiety: rather than focus on my own short-comings, or on the problem of the moment, I shifted my attention to Godwho is more than equal to any problem and who will supply all thats lacking in me from His own infinite capacity. Problems continue to present themselves, of course, but my anxiety has disappeared, and Im able to tackle them with a calm assurance, allowing God to lead the way.
