Description This is a flag that I found draped over a Civil War soldier's tombstone. The stone was in a long forgotten burial plot that was hidden amongst some woods in Estill County, KY. I wanted to see how many stars the flag bore, hoping it would give me an idea of how long it had been there, but it had been nearly petrified from weather and exposure and I certainly didn't want to damage it.
Creighton Matthews, Lexington Member Since October 2007 Artist Statement Welcome to my page! I am a Graphic Designer for the television industry, however I have come to prefer the still image over the moving image. I shoot on small and medium format film cameras, as well as digital, but you could probably give me a shoebox with a pinhole in it and I'd be perfectly happy. Take some time to browse around and if you like what you see, let me know! Thank you very much for checking out my photos!
