Artist Statement Rodney Robbins says, "Art Collecting Should be Fun!"

To some people, buying "fine art" is about taking something wonderful and putting it in a hard, cold, dark, metal safe and hoping that one day they can sell it at a profit. That's not you.

I believe you are here at the Rodney Robbins Lively Art Gallery to find more joy. Perhaps you realize that buying a fine art print is about how good a print looks on your wall, the complements you get about it, the stories that go with it and the smiles it you, your family and your guests. To people like you and me, fine art is about colors and conversations, surprise and sustenance, decor and delight. When you showcase a fine art print in your home or office, you are letting your guests see what you consider beautiful or mysterious, joyful or funny. If your fine art print goes up in value, that's great; as long as it brings more joy into your life right here and now.

Enjoy Your Rodney Robbins Fine Art Prints for a Lifetime

Please look around the Lively Art Gallery. Play with the mat colors. Check out the different sizes and framing options. Then order a small piece for your office or a hallway, or a huge print with matting and a nice frame for your living or board room. Here is my best advice on which print to purchase first: Buy the one that makes you smile! Your print will be made with museum quality ink, on paper that will easily last a lifetime. Remember, you are not calculating the potential return on your investment; you are welcoming more joy into your life!

Rodney Robbins Supports the MDA

My main charity is the Muscular Dystrophy Association. So far, I've helped raise enough money to send 300 children with muscle problems to summer camp. Will you help me send more?

When you buy a print from me, I will send a portion of the profits to the MDA . If you would like to sponsor a child to summer camp (it costs about $800.00), or support research into curing muscle diseases, go to the MDA USA home page and click on the "Make a Donation" button. It is a wonderful feeling to know you are making a difference in the life of a young person. If you want to learn more about Periodic Paralysis (that's the form of muscular dystrophy I have), go to the Periodic Paralysis News Desk.
