Description The original oil hand-painted painting was done on a 20 16 inch stretched canvas. The painting of Grinnell Lake in Glacier Park Montana. The painting has tonal features, done in mostly shades of gray hues, except for the lake. The lake really is this color, if you can believe it; being fed by glacier sediments produces this intense turquoise color. I live, work, and paint in the beautiful state of Idaho and have spend much of my life in the Pacific Northwest, and Montana. Many of these areas have served as inspirations for my art work. I have been painting in oils for about 8 years and probably inherited some painting genes from my dad, who was also an artist.
