Description Digital painting created by Second Glance Digital Art. Two photos are merged together to create this beauty. An angel statue combined with the panoramic view of a vast, sculpted area of gas and dust where thousands of stars are being born has been captured. It offers an unprecedented, detailed view of the entire inner region of the fertile, star-forming 30 Doradus Nebula, which is in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way located 170,000 light-years from Earth.*Photo credit: This design was possible in part thanks to the images taken and allowed for me to use by NASAs Hubble Space Telescope. LeAnn Lunzer, St. Paul, Mn Member Since April 2013 Artist Statement I have lived, worked and visited many cities and states in America and have found beauty in every corner of our country. I enjoy the simple things, and feel closer to God when I take time to appreciate the details. I have dabbled in just about every medium I can think of and have always considered myself an artist since I first picked up a crayon. I really enjoy photographing nature and then transforming those photos into digital paintings with my computer.
I have sold my art and crafts at boutiques and craft shows around the state. I hope my art will inspire you to stop and take a second glance at the beauty that surrounds us; all the colors, shapes and variety of life that is right outside our door if we just stop for a moment to look for it.
