Artist Statement I attend a University in Missouri. I am double majoring in Psycology and Film and i'm minoring in Biblical Studies. In my spare time i try to paint, draw, write, and other stuff. I don't have any training in the field of Art. I don't intend on taking Art seriously as a profession. I just do it for fun. It's a release. I am a people person, but it takes me some time to warm up to a person. I love people, but i don't like to paint or draw real people. The main reason i don't paint/draw real people is because I know that i am not able to see them the same way they see themselves. :-) I don't know if that makes sense, but that is why i don't paint portraits for people. I do paint and draw people from my imagination. These are people that i see. Most of the time, these people are abstract and imperfect. I guess it's a part of my style. I find myself drawing trees the most. I love trees. I like to experiment with many ideas, just for pleasure.

I would say that the most important thing in my life is my relationship with God. God is a very big influnce in my lifestyle. He is the reason for everything I have and don't have. I am nothing without His Grace.
