Description Jeelan, Warrior Princess of Mars, was captured by the green Martian Jed Grisol whose first inclination, supported by his consort Dalir, was to pit Jeelan against a gorlak and watch the pretty red Martian die a painful death from the gorlak's poison. But as Grisol watched the brave Jeelan agilely evade whip stroke after whip stroke of the venomous tail his heart started to turn as all Martians, even -- if not especially -- the green Martians, approve and applaud martial prowess. And when Jeelan blooded her blade on the gorlak, the flinty heart of Jed Grisol began to soften, just as that of Dalir became more icy and contemptuous.
Tim Doty Member Since November 2009 Artist Statement Fanciful and whimsical are how I describe my creations. Anthropomorphic animals and other hybrid creatures are typical manifestations of this.
From the fanciful ballroom mice or musical cats to the fantastic of a goddess manifesting in a space cathedral or action scenes on different planets, the images show a sense of wonder and magic.
