Description This is another example of my technique of using freeform drawing to create images from famous photographs. I dont use the layer feature over a photo and then trace over it. I take a shape of the shadows in the picture and free draw that shape. This technique is kind of like making puzzle pieces of each shape of the photo and then putting that puzzle together. Once I create the image in black and white. Using virtual painting to create the colors and then use filters to add the textures. I use this technique on all of my portraits.
Brian Isaacs, Taos Member Since August 2009 Artist Statement I knew I loved art and photography when I was only ten years old. I learned how to photograph from an early age because of my father, Tony Isaacs, who through his business Indian House, a record company, would photograph the covers for his albums.
I built/upgraded my first computer in my Jr. High School years. I made my first digital image, in the mid eighties when most systems were hundred of thousands of dollars.
I spent hours each day teaching myself computers and mastering the world of digital technologies.
