Artist Statement I was born in Santa Monica CA, grew up in a small town in Idaho and went to college and graduate school in California and New Jersey. I've spent 27 years working as a computer software designer and developer.

I lived in many different places during that time. Everywhere I was, I always found something I wanted to photograph. And these photographs are now what I remember most about the locations that I lived, worked and visited.

I'm now retired and living with my wife here in Eastern Oregon. There are a lot of nice places that aren't far away. "Winter Journeys" is an example. From 2009 onward, all my images are geotaged.

I tend to be a minimalist on interpretation of my work. One has to look in the Galleries to see any sense of thematic organization as it has become an ongoing project.

I have a limited website but my Collections on Flickr are a better indication of where and when images were created. So I've given that as another web based reference.
