Artist Statement I was born here in California but have so often travelled throughout Romania that I consider it my homeland. My first language was Romanian. In fact, I am the only person in my family to be born in the United States. A son of refugees, I have had numerous chances to discover my artistic talents while traveling in Romania. As I visited villages and climbed mountains in some of the most beautiful moments in childhood, I drew inspiration from these beautiful surroundings. As a Christian artist, I make all attempts to glorify God who gave me this remarkable talent, and to show other people the beauty of His creation. I believe He is the Master Artist, guiding all artists, and I thank Him for my talent. Whatever people's beliefs may be, I strive to touch each heart with the blessings of nature.
