Description New England Beach: a watercolor art print where I used a strong line drawing technique to define the shapes. This technique uses precise sharp lines and subdued colors creating a crisp, clean look. This particular wall art print depicts a typical New England beach scene with people strolling, jogging or just enjoying the sun and sand.The setting is the coastal region of New England from Marthas Vineyard up through Maine. Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
