Nina Spencer is an acclaimed visionary folk artist, with over twenty years at her craft. She is best known for her acrylic paintings that weave stories using vivid primary colors that gives voice to life on the bayou from a child's perspective. Her work has been said to be a prophetic form that depicts the stories of past, present and future in a way that is profound. Nina’s tiles are on display at the Vice President’s residence in Washington, DC. Nina has won many accolades including the Delaware Division of the Arts Fellowship. Her tiles are featured in permanent folk art collection at Blue Ball Barn as well as the Delaware Museum of Arts. In the past 20 years Nina’s work has been featured on the cover of Delmarva Quarterly, Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, Country Living Magazine, as well as in corporate and educational settings. Nina's work can be seen on the Immaculate baking products, a subsidiary of General Mills.
