Description Another one of the several paintings I have produced this past week-it's title was going through my mind with each brush stroke, every line, and semi-circle. Finally, standing back from it late last night, I was melancholy yet grateful at the same time. No quick fix can take away what life's curves that cause pain will do, but in that uncertainty of a world that can seem at times cruel and without purpose, I have the only reprieve I have every known, creativity. It is, for me, the only thing that is certain.Acrylic on canvas 30'x30' 7/8' depth. Gallery wrapped, back-stapled, sides painted, and ready to hang 'as is.' Finished with two coats of UV protective gloss varnish. This painting holds many emotions and was made with intense purpose. It is a reflection (one can only hope) of movement, change, the silence, the HOWL, and somewhere, within the tones and curves, is me.For purchasing info:http://www.yessy.com/richards

t's a New Year,2008, and I have painted daily, and often nightly, throughout much of the former year. Finding my own style was my Number one goal, and then making it as much my own as the signature of my name. I am closer to my goal, but not close enough for this artist, not by a long shot. I hope to bring fresh new challenging work in the coming months, and I have you as I my witness. Julianne Richards "the Colorspeaker
The year 2007 has started off with the fury of creativity, and painting has become a daily, hourly, central focus in my creation of Art. I hope to bring forth my best work thus far, and I am up for challenge. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, purchased my art, and given words of encouragment. It shows, and I will respond in the making of new and focused paintings.
