Description In our neighbor, the Small Magellanic Cloud, hidden within the clouds of a nebula lies a rather peculiar phenomenon. A pair of wormholes existing in virtually the same region, have torn the very fabric of space. The resulting spacial rift was suspended between the mouths of the wormholes which have remained open for thousands of years. According to the space faring races of the SMC, the passages lead not just to another place , but each into a different parallel universe. - This artwork is a fractal illusion, even each ship is a fractal.
Randall Klopping, Merced, CA Member Since June 2010 Artist Statement I am a disabled person with multiple disabilities working to build a life for myself. I offer a truly unique style of art, weaving my illusions of the universe with fractals and occasionally a bit of digital painting. I hope that my work will find a home on your wall and inspire your imagination.
I apologize that I cannot respond to all peoples comments but with this economy I have not been able to earn much from my art and now the friend who was able to help me over the years is unemployed and I will no longer have internet access. I will try to find a way to once a month or so to use the library's computers to read your comments, but I can't sit or stand for long periods so won't be able to respond much. I like hearing what others think. The cuts that California have done to disabled people's benefits have left me at a point where I can no longer work to try to market my work, so any help people can give letting others know about it so that perhaps I can still earn some money from the works I've gotten up here.
