Description The shadowy shape of a Native American figure with a two feather headdress, and the swirling spinning motion of a Shamans spiritual dance, has been carved into the sandstone wall of the slot canyon by water, wind and time, in Owl Canyon, Page Arizona
Roupen Baker, Cape Cod Member Since October 2011 Artist Statement Roupen Baker is a cape Cod based independent photographer specializing in fine art seascapes, landscape, nature and travel photography. His photography displays his passion for adventure, travel and the great outdoors. There is a major emphasis on photographs of Cape Cod, it's National Seashore, and his New England seascoast home. His portfolio also features our National Parks, mountains, forests, beaches, wilderness areas and the wildlife found within. Roupen also travel extensively, photographing the Caribbean islands and Mexico.
I like to photograph and display the beauty of nature, and the objects found within, in the best of light, and in both vivid colors or classical black and white, expressing the mood, feelings and emotions of the time and place in the image.
