Description This old train bridge between LaSalle Street Station and Chinatown in Chicago's South Loop is in the middle of a giant field of prarie grasses and wildflowers including sunflowers. You can see the Sears Tower, get full bars on your cell phone but there are moments when you can't see any evidence of being in a city, except for this bridge nearby. Its a great icon of the past as a nature preserve/urban wasteland. There are still a few uncolonized spaces.
