Description This is the second in a series of paintings I created for a story I wrote in college (RISD) about a girl named Wanda that was a bit obsessed with watermelons. The original was done in acrylic and watercolor on Arches paper. She stepped outside into the warm summer sun,But as she walked down the street, her strings came undone.Again she reached for the top of her head, This time more slowly, with a feeling of dread. The sprout had grown up into a full-fledged tree,Right there in plain sight for the whole town to see!
