This is a series of mixed-media watercolor landscape paintings I have done over the last several years. The idea is to start a project with a very vague idea of what it will be and then use basic artistic intuition and spontaneity to "build" the work. This process allows me, as an artist, to avoid the monotony of laboring over each piece to achieve a preconceived result. Each piece becomes a journey and the result is often a mix of natural and mechanical forms, abstraction and realism.
