My daughter's hula instructor [ kumu a'o ] gave her the Hawaiian name Kanilehua. Kanilehua is the name of a mist-like rain famous at Hilo.Rain that lehua flowers drink.[This is remarkable in that her kumu hula had no idea she grew up in Hilo]. As a gift I made these small drawings for my Heather Lee.
