These are a select few prints from the sell-out solo exhibition "Kai's Endless Playlist" Each individual piece was created using popular song lyrics as a stimulus. Aside from a deep love of music and lyrics, this selection of work reveals an interest in Japanese Graphic Novels and the spattering sway of London Street-Art. Modern elements such as these are contradictorily caught up in the controlled curves of Lynsey's unique spin on classic Art Nouveau lines. It was with this particular style that Lynsey Morgann Laurence launched her career as a contemporary artist in the Autumn of 2011 Heavily outlined, colourful, layered and playful; her work can appear light-hearted and impulsive on the surface, but on closer inspection it can be observed that the subject matter is both painfully reflective and deeply expressive.
