Subjects include California landscape, cityscape, portraiture, street-scenes, public events, historic landmarks and everyday happenings and friends. His vivid palette is derived from the bold colors of the original rainbow flag. These colors represent, sexuality, healing, sunshine, nature, art, harmony, and spirit. Riccoboni’s internationally recognized work represents community, a sense of place in a positive and life affirming manner.- I have a fond love of architecture and structure. I enjoy painting beautiful old buildings, and capturing the light and character in them. Even in the street scenes with all the people about I like to capture the essence of the cityscape. May you feel as much at home with seeing these paintings and experience the art as much I do. Here find scenes of Coronado Island, Balboa Park, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, University Heights,Point Loma, Cabrillo National Monuement, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and Mission Bay from San Diego's premier artist. See more of the artist's work at The Studio Door Art Gallery in Hillcrest, San Diego, California.
