Artist Statement I was born February 22,1948 in Kearney Ontario. As a young boy I moved to the Sudbury District with my family. My Father became an employee of INCO from were he retired. I graduated from Cambrian College as a Civil Engineering Technician. In 1980 I hired on with then E B Eddy at there sawmill in Nairn Centre. I became a Sawfiler and retired after 28 years service. I have been photographing off and on since the mid Sixies. My first camera was an Ashi Pentex Spotmatic II. When the Digital Cameras became available I jumped in feet first and taught myself Photoshop. With this set up I now had complete control from taken the photo to printing the final product. My equipment consists of a Canon Tsi equiped with a 28 to 135 zoom lense. I always use a tripod to obtain the low shutter speeds and depth of field I require. I have created a Blog to discuss the individual photos that I had created and if you have purchased or are interested in one of my photos check it out.
