Artist Statement I am a 47 year old woman from Mass who has just discovered not only the digital picture world, but the fact that there are some incredible insects wondering around this planet.This photographing insect infactuation all started when I got my first digital camera a few years back. It was a 7 mega- pixel easyshare point and shot. I went to take pictures of flowers one day, and when I uploaded them I could not believe the quality of the bees on the flowers. So day after day I would shoot pictures of all type, any type, well siders I was not to happy with, but there are some very strange eight-legged aliens walking around. So after about a year I thought I should get a new camera, so of course having such luck with the easyshare I bought a 10 mega-pixel assuming it had to be better.right? Wrong, the images were blurry, and color was horrible, so I returned it, and bought what I still own now a Canon Powershot A480 10 mega-pixel. As you can see it works well..lol. so many people are shocked that my photos came from an inexpensive point and shoot, only goes to prove more money is not always a sure bet. Other things that I enjoy doing are writing poetry, and carving pictures in wood. I have 2 children not living with me. My daughter Lily who lives in Georgie, and my son Jesse who lives a few towns over from me.
