Description I've been collecting Kenner Star Wars figures since 1978, and in tribute I've been drawing portraits of them with Pigma Micron pens and Prismacolor pencils. This is my Biker Scout (aka Scout Trooper), his torso yellowed with age and permanently bowlegged from decades sitting in his speeder bike. I miraculously found his (very cool) gun in 2015, decades after losing it!

Artist Statement This is the sort of thing you'll like, if you like that sort of thing.

I love the textures that emerge from simple black ink on white Bristol, and that's where most of my time goes, but I'm happy to play around with ink washes, markers, and colored pencils. A lot of my inspiration is drawn from pop culture (especially Star Wars and vintage roleplaying games); when I'm feeling more serious I like to look at architecture and nature. My mom's been an artist ever since I was born; I guess something rubbed off.
