Artist Statement About Daniel GomezI was born in Medellin , Colombia
My family moved back to Bogotá, Colombia when I was 6 months old.
I went to elementary school in Bogota, .were I finished Hight School.
When i was 20 years old I moved to the USA. Took flying lessons in Atmitiville, New York and Benton Harbor , Michigan.
I moved to california, Costa Mesa, were I sudied Business Administrationin the Orange Coast College.
I did not finish BA in California.
Since I was a little boy I was incline to painting and draw. My mother and my school teachers discovered my talent in the art of painting.
I took a course of photography in Bogota, Colombia.
I was a profesional photograper for about 16 years.
I Moved to Paris, France were I began painting on my own. I was inspired and supported
by my french friend and painter Jack Ilh.
I married Robyn Windshuttle, an Australian woman. We have a wonderful son, ...Daniel Gomez Windshuttle- I moved to Australia,
were I studied arts for one year.
After this I studied painting on my own, and I am still studing and always will.
I live and work in Colombia.
