Artist Statement Alicia VanNoy Call started painting in 2002, a self-taught artist specializing in acrylic works featuring animals. Now she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Utah Valley University. She takes the inspiration for the colorful paintings from the Desert Southwest, where she grew up. Alicia is an advocate of no-kill rescue, and works with dozens of animal rescues worldwide. She lives, paints, and plays in Arizona. She accepts private commissions for original paintings.
