Description Here is Frida as she seems to leap forth from flames and laugh at everyone still living! This image was inspired by an event at her cremation when her body sprang up from the flames and seemed to laugh at everyone. This was originally an oil pastel drawing on rives paper.It has a lot of expressive hatch marks and cuts because I used and x acto knive to slice through may layers of pastel.
