About my Passion:
Contemporary Impressionist Painter, Sally Shisler, has become internationally recognized as one of the premier palette knife painters in today's art world. Known as an artist with a unique ability to use palette knives to create lively, engaging, color rich paintings, her work is widely collected. In 2014, she authored and published a book called "Palette Knife Paintings of the Figure from My First Blog". Currently in the works is an instructional book on palette knife painting that will bring inspiration into the hands of other artists who wish to explore this technique. Sally teaches workshops and private instruction both in the Orlando area (where she lives) and in other locations around the country. She continues to receive accolades, not only for her uniquely beautiful paintings, but also for her positive and encouraging ways with students.
