Description A portrait of my son Christopher Bode. The original is 18x24 inches and is a oil painting on canvas. The inspiration for this piece came, because as I was getting ready to go to work, my little son Chris put my uniform on, and then started looking through my camera bag as if he knew what he was doing.

I recently retired from the Klamath Falls City School District, in Oregon. I am also a retired FAA Air Traffic Controller, where I spent 16 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. I and my wife of 45 years, have down sized by selling off our 5 bedroom home in Klamath Falls, getting rid of over half of our stuff and moving to Sacramento. We now live in a 1978 "retro" Mobile Home, in a nice Mobile Home Park, near Rancho Cordova. It has taken me 3 years to make this move and I am finally ready mentally and financially to be that full time artist.

I draw every day, and try to paint everyday. Soon I will start a daily ArtBlog. My favorite sports are swimming and biking.

I accept fine art commissions, as well as commercial illustrations.
